Research

TransPosition has always maintained a high level of original research throughout its consulting work. The research covers a range of areas to do with transport planning, transport modelling, data collection and population and employment projections. A number of the key research topics are explored on this site, and TransPosition occasionally runs discussions and presentations at our Brisbane Office. Please contact us if you are interested in attending one of these sessions.

Accessibility

The theory and practice of accessibility analysis has been a long standing interest for TransPosition, that started with work done by Ken Davidson in the 1960s, and continued through the work done by Peter Davidson on random utility models and accessibility.

The pages here contain some definitions, discussions and key papers that we have prepared on the topic of accessibility.
